Another small massage shop that offers more than a massage, Ayaka Massage Bangkok is located on Sukhumvit soi 22, next to Admiral Suites Apartment Hotel, on the right hand side when arriving from Sukhumvit main road.

Unlike Yayoi Massage, Ayaka Massage shop is located directly on Sukhumvit soi 22 and easy to spot.

The rooms are basic but all equipped with private shower OR bathtub.

Service is good and prices are in line with those in other naughty massage shops around.

Yayoi Massage Bangkok is a small massage shop located in a very small soi off Sukhumvit soi 22, past the Imperial Queen’s Park Hotel, on the same side when arriving from Sukhumvit main road.

It is a very small shop and one could easily miss it, but watch out for the girls sitting on small chairs at the mouth of the small sub-soi.

Inside the shop it is pretty basic but each room has a massage bed and a small shower. Prices and services are in line with what one can expect from a naughty massage shop.

Euphoria Massage Bangkok is a new shop replacing the former Miss Kanokwan Bath & Massage on Sukhumvit soi 22. For some reasons, Massage Shops in this area (a small soi opposite several naughty massage shops, next to a Family Mart store) have never really succeeded.

Rose Massage is now closed and Miss Kanokwan replaced. Let’s wish more luck to Euphoria Massage.

Euphoria Massage offers several pre-paid packages starting with a cheap 40-minute option. They also have ball massage options.

The website shows several pretty girls but in the shop only a few are available and they are not so pretty.

Lunlana Hotel Bangkok is a very small hotel (8 rooms altogether) but ideally located on Sukhumvit soi 4, less than 100 meters away from Nana Plaza, between Dynasty Inn Hotel and Naughty Girls beer bar.

The rooms go for 1,200 baht per night, without breakfast but including free Wifi.

There are cheaper options on Sukhumvit soi 4, but if the rooms are nice, this is not a bad one.

Strikers Sports Pub Bangkok, the beer and pool bar that recently moved from its premium location next to Nana Plaza entrance, to a not-so-bad-but-much-further-down-the-soi location on the Rajah Hotel parking lot (between Sukhumvit soi 4 and soi 2), now features coyote dancers.

To take advantage of the space available in the bar, and to lure the customers inside, 3 or 4 girls are dancing at the bar every night, coyote style. They are only available for a drink, and that’s when they’re not selling their own tequila shots.

Strikers also has a few bar girls, but in comparison to the coyotes they don’t really look attractive.

Free Wifi, 110 baht bottle beers and crowd watching seem to be the only reason to chose this beer bar over others on Sukhumvit soi 4.

Lucky Massage Bangkok, the new shop on Sukhumvit soi 26, next to Snow White Massage, is now open. And it is a big shop indeed. At least in the lobby because we haven’t had a chance to see the rooms yet. But it looks big.

They only offer pre-paid packages and it is actually a bit more expensive than all the Teen Massage shops around, but still it is a Teen Massage shop and not a Massage Parlor.

Interestingly, they also offer a Swing Room VIP option featuring a Pleasure Swing (Google that!) and 2 options: 1 lady and… 3 ladies (both for 2 hours with the latter being a bit pricey!).

Next door to Orchid Inn, Petals Inn is a new hotel located on Sukhumvit soi 4, near the corner of soi 6, in what used to be a business townhouse.

It is brand new and a bit more upscale than Orchid Inn, but the price difference is surprising: they charge 1,700 baht for a standard room (including WIFI but no breakfast) when Orchid Inn next door charge only 800 (standard) or 1,000 baht (superior).

The rooms don’t seem to be bigger and there is no additional facility (no restaurant, no swimming pool and no gym).

You will find cheaper rates for this hotel on Agoda (click on the banner below) but still, it should be in the lower price range to be a real value for money. You will easily find a better price for the same location and service or better location and/or services for the same price.

Orchid Inn Hotel, one of the cheapest hotels in the Sukhumvit area, has been closed for renovation for a few months and has now re-opened.

The good news is that it is still very cheap with standard rooms running for 800 baht and Deluxe room for 1,000 baht (all including free WIFI but no breakfast).

Orchid Inn is a very basic hotel but at a very good location on Sukhumvit soi 4, just past the noisy part of the soi, where there are less bars and less people walking around. With lots and bars, restaurants and massage shops around.

And Orchid Inn is still Guest Friendly (No Joiner Fee)!

We have to admit that we at SE! have very little knowledge of the Naughty Nightlife options for heterosexual women in Bangkok. But the Bangkok Post has an interesting story. Excerpts:

In the past few years the number of ”host bars”, or clubs aimed at heterosexual female clientele, has risen exponentially in Bangkok. Some, especially those whose hosts can be ”bar fined” (solicited for prostitution), keep a very low profile, to the point of not even having a name, website or publicising their location. Some are free to enter with pricey drinks, while others charge covers of about 1,000 baht for non-members. Many of these establishments refuse to admit men, while others make exceptions for men in the company of women as well as for gay men _ although the latter are generally discouraged. The dozens of host bars around Bangkok catering to gay men would be a better fit.

The female-only clubs are largely a new phenomenon. Most are off of Asok-Montri or Ratchadaphisek roads. One is on the top floor opposite the Grammy Building on Asok. Another one nearby is called House. There is also the well known 18 Plus 1 in the Sermmit Tower (www.18plus1.com), which boasts over ”100 men ready to take care of you _ handsome, warm, courteous and friendly”.

On Ratchadaphisek Soi 3 is a restaurant cum host bar called Nice Club House, while on Soi 13 there’s the Mon Lady Club. Near Sutthisan MRT is a large new club called Sha Sha Club (www.shashaclub.com), where only women are allowed. It targets middle-class to higher end professionals and housewives and promises to ”deliver a night of fun for you ladies” with ”handsome slim guys with warmth, humour and fun who know how to flatter the ladies”.

On Rama IX Road is Prince Entertainment (princeentertainment.biz), which ”employs handsome quality that will provide fun every night because you are a princess of the prince of the night”.

We spoke to one frequent patron of such clubs, an unmarried Thai woman in her late thirties who works in finance. She said she’s not looking for anything serious at the bar she regularly attends on Asok Road. Sometimes she goes with friends, other times just by herself.

”I go to relax,” she said. ”I work hard during the week and I can have a drink, and the men come to me and I can choose who I want to talk to. It makes me feel a little like a university student again, when I was popular with the boys. If I sit with a different host the next time, the one from before looks hurt. I know it’s mainly an act, but it makes me feel liked.”

She said she hasn’t paid a host for sex, although it happens. Some clubs don’t want to know about the liaisons, while others want their share of the money. A friend of hers paid 5,000 baht, including the ”bar fine” paid to the club, for all-night intimacy.
